We are a broad cross-section and network of arts and cultural organizations - large and small - dedicated to working in partnership with Los Angeles County agencies, school districts, parents and their children, corporations, and civic leaders to strengthen arts education for all students.

Our mission is to ensure that the creative vitality of professional artists, arts organizations, and cultural resources in Los Angeles is utilized for maximum impact to support learning in and through the arts for all students.

To do so, we have established a separate entity, the Los Angeles Arts Consortium, with the goals of re-conceiving and structuring how arts education is delivered in Los Angeles County as well as establishing a model for sustainable private-public funding for arts education.

This initiative is embedded in a larger civic vision of bringing together stakeholders to constitute a living organism supporting the arts in Los Angeles.
